Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Praruna Foundation, we appreciate your generosity and support for our cause. Since we are a charitable organization utilizing funds for social welfare projects, we have established the following policy regarding refunds and cancellations.
1. Donations are Final
In accordance with standard non-profit practices in India, donations are generally non-refundable. Once a donation is processed, the funds are immediately allocated to our ongoing charitable programs.
2. Exceptional Circumstances for Refunds
Praruna Foundation will consider a request for a refund only in the following specific cases:
Technical Error: If a technical glitch results in a double-deduction or an incorrect amount being charged.
Unauthorized Use: If the donation was made without the cardholder's/account holder's authorization (proof of a police complaint or bank dispute may be required).

3. Refund Request Process
To request a refund under the exceptional circumstances mentioned above, you must contact us within 7 days of the transaction date.

4. Processing Refunds
If approved, the refund will be processed back to the original payment method (Credit Card/Debit Card/Bank Account) within 10 to 15 working days.
5. 80G Certificate Implications
If an 80G Tax Exemption Certificate (or Form 10BE) has already been issued for a donation, a refund cannot be processed as the tax benefit has already been recorded with the Income Tax Department.
